Name the upazila

It is said that about 5200 years ago, in the Mahabharata era , the capital of the great king was in the Gobindaganj area of Gaibandha district . Here the Panch-Pandav was on an unknown bus for a year . Kurukshetra was on the side of the great king Pandavas. The great king had 60 (sixty) thousand cows. There is a legend that the name Gaibandha came as a place for that cow or Gai Bandha . Gaibandha Sahakumar was established at Bhabaniganj in Patiladah Pargana on 26 August 1857. 15/08/1984 English Wednesday 2nd Falgun 1390 Bengali 12th Jamadiul Awal 1404 AH was established as a district .
